Position Summary

We have an exciting opportunity to join our accounting team on a twelve month contract with the possibility of an extension as an Accounts Receivable Administrator. Based out of New Glasgow and reporting to the Team Lead, Accounts Receivable, this role contributes to Crombie REIT’s success by understanding the banking structures and monitoring and reconciling the bank accounts. Service-oriented, this role acts as a support to our AR Department.

As the Accounts Receivable Administrator you will be responsible for coding of payments received, assisting with the Bank Reconciliation process, keying cash receipts, processing tenant invoices, and rental billings providing relief during vacations and training periods, as well as other duties as determined and assigned by the Manager.

The successful candidates must be able to produce quality work with minimal verification or revision. All while demonstrating the utmost degree of confidentiality and ethics.

The profile we are looking for

Our ideal candidate would have 1-3 years Accounts Receivable / Office experience and demonstrate a solid understanding of banking structures. A University Degree or College Diploma in Accounting is considered an asset. However all candidates demonstrating the above skill set will be considered. Strong communication skills and attention to detail are a must.
